Vy Tran Vinluan

Vy is the Director at Artenia Beast and has been with the school since it opened in Oct 2014! She has a BA and MA in Child Development and also holds a director’s permit. During her free time, she enjoys family time with her husband and daughter Elle!

Lauren Kitching

Lauren is the Assistant Director and has been with Artenia since May 2019. During her free time, she enjoys home projects with her husband and spending time with her two dogs Maverick and Oakley.

Blithe Raines
(she/her)
Blithe co-founded Waking the Village in 2003. She helped to open Artenia Beast in 2014. She holds a BS degree from UC Davis. She is currently the Early Childhood Programs Director and oversees Artenia Beast as well as other Waking the Village sites. Her weekends and evenings are claimed by the joys of parenting, baking something tasty, and exploring the world.
